AHH It’s October!

The end of September was a pretty good one and the beginning of October has set off my soon to be 8 year old son’s birth month. The past few weeks have been full of getting ready for Halloween, tricks, and of coarse more my kids say the darnedest things moments.

We’ll start off with our getting ready for Halloween trip. The intention was to go to Spirit Halloween to get the kids their costumes and walk around a little. Of coarse the kids dad ends up searching and finding decorations for his apartment. My son gets his Spider-man costume and my daughter gets a punk rock vampress costume and we try them on, then walk around the store. We are by one of the displays that you can push a button and it does something. I note a sign that says jumping spider and suddenly the spider jumps. It made me and my daughter jump but my son was so scared by it he ran off madly screaming. I wish I had it on camera because it was so funny! He has a love/hate for scary things.

This past weekend my son wanted to go to the prison graveyard. Again his love/hate for scary things is very strange. We got this one on video this time. Here is the video because it’s so much better than explaining what went down: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCMdWTDo-qw&list=UU_xxXsDnJv9sRGPHiJp5M3A&index=1&feature=plcp

Finally, today starts October, my son’s birth month and here is the conversation we had today:

Me- Hey Jerod! Happy Birth Month!
J- What does that mean?
Me-It means it’s the month you were born.
J- Does that mean I get to do anything I want?
Me- On your birthday you can do just about anything you want. (knows what’s coming)
J- That means I get to boss you around on my birthday.
Me- Bahahahahahaha

Week one of the crazy stuff my kids say!

Just recently my kids have been saying the craziest things. Because they have been so wildly hilarious, I have decided to write a blog about the crazy stuff my kids say during the week.

I have 2 kids, Jerod (Like Jared for all you dumbasses who can’t speak right) who was born 10/20/04, and Cameron (a girl TYVM) who was born 12/20/07.

Jerod just started the 2nd grade and Cameron just started Pre-K.

On a typical school day I drop Jerod off, then drop Cameron off and pick Jerod up, then pick Cameron up.

Ok so on to my first hilarious story from this past week:

I had gone backwards that day and picked Cameron up first. On our way to get Jerod, Cameron tells me about how much Joe likes her pants. I said that it sounded like Joe really liked her. She then told me that he was her boyfriend. She was very enthusiastic about her new friend.

As Jerod is getting in the car Cameron tells Jerod about Joe, her new boyfriend. The conversation went a little like this:

Cameron- Hey Jerod! I have a boyfriend! His name is Joe!

Jerod- Oh yeah? Is he hot? (I die laughing)

Cameron- Mmm No, he’s warm. (EPIC laughter!)
